Swapceinski also started the popular site www.ratemyprofessor.com, a college and university-oriented website that allows students to rate and critique their professors. By 2006, Swapceinski's website had roughly 150,000 visitors each month. “It shouldn't be easier to find consumer reports on toasters than doctors when health care is a matter of life and death. When it comes to health care, there's really a lack of information," said Swapceinski said when speaking to The Star Phoenix, a Saskatoon-based newspaper. This was his primary motivation behind creating a forum that allows regular patients to conduct Canadian doctor reviews.

However, the idea of Canadian doctor reviews is also being heavily criticized. Many doctors are arguing that high ratings does not necessarily mean that patients are receiving the best medical care; it simply means that they had an enjoyable experience with their physician.
